2021 Toyota Sienna mobility features
Toyota understands the need for everyone to be mobile in one way or another. The 2021 Toyota Sienna takes this vision for accessibility by adding ubiquitous mobility solutions. Keep reading to learn more about these.
Mobility for all
To help those who are wheelchair-bound, the Toyota Sienna has a special wheelchair accessibility modification to help provide more freedom to move. This has allowed more peace of mind when traveling with those who are disabled. Examples include bringing children with disabilities to extracurricular activities or allowing the elderly to enter and exit the vehicle easily.
Toyota first introduced the Sienna in 1998 in North America as a transportation solution for growing families always on the move. In 2003, Toyota realized the Sienna was well suited as a conversion for individuals with disabilities. Two companies that help Toyota with these solutions are BraunAbility and Vantage Motility International. The way these companies have helped tailor the Sienna to these needs include lowering the floor of the vehicle for improved wheelchair accessibility and adding ramps or lifts.
Other features in the 2021 Toyota Sienna
