Toyota Highlander Performance Features

November 17th, 2021 by

The Toyota Highlander has been rather well-known amongst many truck enthusiasts for being a standout entry in the brand it originated, mainly due to it initially being a step-up from previous trucks and becoming one of the more important additions of the Honda brand itself.

If anything, the truck has solidified its role as one of the biggest pillars of the manufacturer, especially in regards to the performance it boasts. The engine it equips is of the 3.5-liter V6 Dual Overhead Cam variety, or DOHC for short. It’s also billed as part of the 24-Valve D-4S Injection Atkinson Cycle-capable entries due to the inclusion of an ability named Dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i for short) and even Stop and Start System to boot. As as result of all this, the vehicle makes for an impressive output of 295 hp as well as a torque rating of 263 lb.-ft.
